Dancing with the Herd is a fundraising event featuring notable Marshall University couples who will perform a choreographed routine, while raising money for a student-based fund. The Marshall Contemporary Dance Company has assigned each couple to a team of student or faculty choreographers to bring their performance to life. During the event, a panel of judges will provide feedback and scores to the dancers. The winners, who will be determined by a rubric weighing both the judges’ scores and the total amount of money raised, will receive the Marco Mirrorball Trophy. Donations will directly support the participating couples and the student-focused causes they champion.
This year, the following four couples will participate in the event, each raising money for a student fund of their choosing. Links to the donation portals are listed:

The evening’s event schedule begins at 5:30 p.m. when the doors open, followed by dinner at 6 p.m. and the show at 7 p.m.
Guests will enjoy dinner as they watch the performances unfold, creating a lively and entertaining evening for everyone in attendance. Individual tickets and tables are available for purchase. Those unable to attend can support their favorite couples via donation portals.
