Dunn-Dionne, a Barboursville business leader and long-serving franchise executive, has spent more than four decades building successful multi-unit operations and supporting community economic development. She has been actively involved in statewide civic and philanthropic initiatives and is the parent of two Marshall University alumni.
Wendell, a CPA and CEO of VIM Inc., brings more than 50 years of experience in real estate development and business leadership. A Marshall graduate and member of the university’s Business Hall of Fame, he has served on multiple nonprofit and educational boards and has led major development projects across the region.

Morrisey for these appointments and are pleased to welcome Vicki Dunn-Dionne and Charlie Wendell to the Board of Governors,” said Geoff Sheils, chair of Marshall’s Board of Governors. “Their combined expertise and dedication to Marshall University will be tremendous assets as we continue advancing our mission.”

Both appointments are effective immediately for terms ending June 30, 2029.
Marshall University’s next Board of Governors meeting is scheduled for Dec. 3.
