“The Foundations program guides students through the initial years of material exploration, where they refine their technical skills and learn to develop artwork around self-defined concepts,” said Gallery Director Sophia Celdrán. “Through a curriculum that encompasses both two- and three-dimensional design, drawing, and theory, students participate in six hours of weekly studio practice augmented by mentorship and critical discussions. These foundational years are critical in teaching students to see, articulate and create with clarity and conviction.”
Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Admission to the gallery and all events are free and open to the public.
