The Direct Admit program will allow Rock Hill graduates direct admission to Marshall University – with no application, fees or cost to students.
Through this program, eligible high school seniors can secure a spot at Marshall by simply opting in – no application or test scores required.
The initiative is designed to simplify next steps for students and families while reinforcing Marshall’s commitment to offering regional access to higher education and to student success.
Rock Hill students are also eligible for Marshall’s metro tuition, a special tuition program for out-of-state students within a 150-mile radius of Huntington.
Rock Hill High School is excited to partner with Marshall through the Direct Admission Program, said Jeff Fraley, assistant superintendent for Rock Hill Schools.
“This partnership gives our students a clear, accessible pathway to continue their education at an outstanding university while removing some of the uncertainty that can come with the college admissions process,” Fraley said. “Opportunities like this are an important part of our commitment to helping every Rock Hill student develop a plan for success after graduation.”
The Direct Admit program reflects Marshall’s goal of strengthening partnerships with area school districts and expanding college-going opportunities throughout the region. Marshall hopes to not only increase college access but reduce uncertainty for students and help them visualize a clear path to earning a degree.
