The ranking includes more than 300 schools and places Marshall in the top 21% of the category.
“Marshall continues to make its mark on the engineering world,” said Dr. David Dampier, dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Sciences. “These rankings are an amazing testament to the dedication and hard work of our faculty and staff.
“We’re not only educating the next generation of engineers and technology professionals. We are also creating opportunities, advancing innovation and making a real difference in our region and beyond.”
Dampier said while Marshall does now offer a doctoral degree in engineering, the school won’t move into a different category until it graduates its first doctoral student.
