Dr. Slav Gratchev, professor of Spanish from the Department of Modern Languages, has published a new book titled Cultural Models and Collective Mentalities in Literature, Art, and Philosophy.
This edited collection combines social science and humanities to examine the collective mentalities, identities, and national cultural models of people from different communities and nations. Unpacking the sociocultural mechanisms of people’s actions and experiences, the contributors use literary works to illustrate and further explore such mechanisms.
This book is unique and special because two brilliant Marshall scholars – Dr. Victor Fet (College of Science) and Dr. Anara Tabyshalieva (COLA) were among the contributors.
The book will be available at Drinko Library shortly.
