Hilary Gibson

Hilary completed her undergraduate degree at Marshall University, where she earned a BA in Secondary Education in General Science and Chemistry. After leaving Huntington, she moved to Charleston and worked in the Kanawha County Schools as a high school science teacher for almost 10 years. During that time, she earned her Master’s in Instructional Design and Technology from WVU. Hilary is excited to be part of the Design Center and work with the OEC Team. Her goal in working with OEC is to help foster an engaging and relevant student experience. She believes that education is so important and should be accessible for all and relevant to the student’s career goals. Outside of work, Hilary enjoys spending time with her circle of friends playing board games or hiking with her corgi, Princess Buttercup.
