Biography
Michelle is returning to Marshall University where she earned a bachelor’s in social work and a master’s in counseling. She has served at multiple institutions in various roles to include recruiting, admissions, advising and retention. Most recently, Michelle’s work has focused on online learning, specifically the online learner experience, student engagement and success. She has presented nationally on strategies and initiatives supporting online student success and is a certified academic life coach. She is enjoying reconnecting with the Marshall and Huntington communities and spending time with her husband, Shannon, daughter, Miya, and their extended family throughout West Virginia.
