Ashley J. Cole is University Librarian and Director of Collection Strategies at Eastern Kentucky University. She provides strategic leadership for collection development, acquisitions, scholarly communication, copyright, cataloging, interlibrary loan, and collection maintenance, ensuring
resources align with curricular priorities, accreditation standards, and institutional goals. Drawing on a background in instruction and information literacy, Cole brings a student-centered perspective to collection strategy and assessment. Her work focuses on connecting collections, services, and learning outcomes through data-informed decision-making, collaboration, and advocacy. Throughout her career at Eastern Kentucky University, she has advanced initiatives that support research, teaching, scholarly communication, and equitable access to information.
