
Biography
Eryn is a proud alumna of Concord University (BA), Marshall University (MA) and the University of Kentucky (MSLS). As the Collaborative Learning Librarian at MU Libraries and the MSLS academic advisor she has served Marshall libraries for almost 15 years.
Eryn has served as Assistant Chair of Faculty Senate for nearly 8 years, a member of the Digital Humanities Advisory committee, an EDGE mentor for students, an ACRL mentor for aspiring librarians, and many committees for WVLA and WVWPACRL. She was a research and instruction librarian for 13 years, serving as the coordinator of the information literacy and liaison program.
Eryn is active in course development and has been an online instructor for WVROCKS for many years. She is currently serving on the MSLS curriculum committee, working with Marshall University faculty to establish a master’s in library science within the university’s newly founded School of Library Science.
The school is scheduled to start admitting and enrolling students during the fall of 2025 with classes beginning in the spring of 2026. Outside her work in libraries, Eryn enjoys traveling, dachshunds, family, and friends.
