Biography
Dr. Gabe Brown serves as the Director of Community Service & Family Programs at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, where he leads initiatives that strengthen student engagement, family partnerships, and community impact. A first-generation college graduate, Dr. Brown brings over ten years of experience working with college and high school students, guiding families and students through the college access, transition, and success process. He holds an Ed.D. from the University of Dayton, an MSW in Community Practice from Case Western Reserve University, and a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Dr. Brown has guided students on college visits across the United States, including Puerto Rico, and remains deeply committed to equity, access, and student success.
