Biography

Jeremy Bailey, BSW, PRSS-SUD, is the Peer Recovery Support Specialist and Program Coordinator for the Marshall University Collegiate Recovery Community. He earned his Bachelor of Social Work from Marshall University in December 2025 and will begin his Master of Social Work program in August 2026. As a person in long-term recovery from substance use disorder, Jeremy brings both lived experience and professional expertise to his work. He has served in a variety of roles, including coordinating Department of Human Services benefits within a substance use treatment facility, student leadership in prevention, peer recovery support, and serving as a Healthy Futures Mentor with the LifeBridge AmeriCorps program, supporting individuals in recovery across diverse settings. Jeremy is passionate about expanding recovery resources, strengthening collegiate recovery programs, and reducing stigma on campus and throughout Appalachia.
