Biography
Dr. Shan Liu is an assistant professor at the Department of Biomedical and Electrical Engineering, Marshall University. She received her D.Eng. in Modeling and Simulation from Old Dominion University, her Ph.D. in Control Theory and Control Engineering, and her M.S. in Systems Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Before joining Marshall University, Dr. Liu worked as an associate professor at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. Her research interests primarily focus on artificial intelligence applications, information visualization, and robotics.
