Support Groups

No matter what pathway you follow, the CRC has something for you.  Read more about the groups we offer below. Please email us at collegiaterecovery@marshall.edu with any questions or comments about the groups below.

Monday

All-Recovery | 5:00 pm – 6:00pm | In-Person

All-Recovery offers open meetings. These meetings are non-denominational. We accept all pathways. Family and friends are welcome. Allies are encouraged to join. Meetings are Monday evenings. They will be in-person.

All-Recovery believes that people from every type of addiction have much in common. Groups highlight commonality and the benefit of sharing experiences together.  All-Recovery accepts anyone interested in sharing in the experience of recovery. These meetings offer a safe place where people can share that experience as a community.

Meetings will be held in the Memorial Student Center, Room #2W16A, located on the second floor.

Tuesday

SMART Recovery | 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm | In-Person

SMART Recovery uses a four points program to create sustained change. You can join us in-person every Tuesday MSC Room 2W9. Will focus on building and maintaining motivation; coping with urges; managing thoughts, feelings and behaviors; and living a balanced life. SMART empowers people to leave behind their addictive behaviors and embrace recovery.

Meetings will be held in the Memorial Student Center, Room #2W16A, located on the second floor.

Wednesday

Gro Marshall | 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm | MU Greenhouse

Gro is a wellness fellowship. Groups nurture mind, body and spirit through connection to the environment. By recognizing the therapeutic power of nature, we seek to serve our communities. During meetings you will practice cultivating natural beauty, healthy foods and neighborly service.

Meetings are currently being held in the MU Greenhouse. There will be times that this group will meet at the MU Garden.
