Connect
This team serves as Marshall University’s vital link to local, state, and federal government, providing insight into legislative and regulatory developments that impact the university community. Through collaboration with Government Relations, faculty, staff, and students can learn to navigate the policymaking process, engage effectively with decision-makers, and elevate Marshall’s priorities and innovations in state and national conversations.
For students, this connection opens doors to careers in public service, hands-on internships, and a deeper understanding of how policy influences higher education and research. Faculty and staff gain strategic guidance in pursuing federal and state funding, sharing their expertise with policymakers, and promoting programs with regional and national reach.
By engaging with Government Relations, the Marshall community stays informed, proactive, and influential – advancing the university’s mission and shaping its future.
