Biography
Scott is a passionate business owner, dedicated educator, and value creator. Starting his
first business at 16 years old, Scott grew the company successfully for eight years until he
experienced his first exit, the sale of his company in 2010. Scott joined Aspire Management,
his father’s exit planning and value growth consulting firm, in 2011, where his father,
Christopher Snider, was a practicing Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®). There, he
discovered his passion for helping business owners change their outcomes by building more
significant companies. In 2012, Scott partnered with his father and purchased the Exit
Planning Institute® (EPI). With their EPI Team, they introduced the Value Acceleration
Methodology™ to the industry and profession, produced two award-winning Walking to
Destiny books, and increased the company from 120 members to over 11,000 members as
of 2026. As an exited owner himself, Scott’s passion is helping business owners create
significant companies, which are defined as highly valuable, ready, attractive, and aligned to
the owner’s business, personal, and financial goals.
Scott is a nationally recognized community leader, growth expert, and lifetime entrepreneur
focused on building value creator cultures. His company and team at the Exit Planning
Institute have achieved numerous awards for their culture, marketing, branding, community
building, content, and programs. These awards include the U.S. Chamber of Commerce CO-
100 America’s Top Small Businesses, Great Places to Work, Best of Small Business SB100,
Hermes Creative Awards, and more. Outside of business, Scott is active in the Northeast
Ohio community where he lives, serves on various boards, and is a former professional
indoor soccer player and team owner in the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL).
