About Us

Boniface Yemba is an Associate Professor of International Business in the Lewis College of Business at Marshall University. He earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from University of Kansas, where his dissertation was supervised by William A. Barnett. His teaching and research focus on international economics, macroeconomics, monetary economics, and applied econometrics. His research has been published in journals such as Macroeconomic Dynamics, Finance Research Letters, Applied Economics, International Review of Economics & Finance, Applied Economics Letters, and the South African Journal of Economics. Since July 2020, he has served as an associate editor for Applied Economics and Applied Economics Letters. Before joining Marshall University in 2018, he taught economics at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He was born and raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
