About Us

Dr. Monisha Gupta

Monisha Gupta joined the Lewis College of Business with over twenty years of expertise in marketing and sales. She has held prominent positions in the fields of advertising, hospitality, retail, consulting, and product development. In addition, she also has a significant entrepreneurial background. She has spearheaded an advertising agency and managed successful franchise operations for leading brands. Monisha has lived and worked in Asia, Europe, and North America which adds to her knowledge of several languages and cultures. It is this enriched experience that she brings to the classroom. Monisha holds a Ph.D. in addition to Master’s in Business Economics and M.Phil from India. She teaches Marketing concepts and application, Consumer Behavior, Personnel Selling, Integrated Marketing Communication and a special class on Market Consulting. In 2020, Monisha became the Director of the Truist Leadership Center. Monisha is engaged in community service outreach programs, in addition to serving Goodwill and the local Advisory Board, Truist Bank.

Zach Kincaid

Zach Kincaid is a newly appointed associate for the Truist Center for Leadership. Zach is a junior at Marshall University pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. In the fall of 2020, Zach participated in the Truist Leadership Certification program. Inspired by the experience of learning new information and leadership skills in the program, Zach went on to become a student fellow for the center. In the spring of 2021, Zach was elected senator for the Lewis College of Business in Marshall University’s Student Government Association. Zach wishes to use his position to encourage all students to take the initiative in studying their business-leadership skills. Now working as an associate for the BB&T Center for Leadership, Zach aspires to expand his knowledge in leadership and innovation, while creating more opportunities for business students at Marshall University.
