Dr. Monisha Gupta
Monisha Gupta joined the Lewis College of Business with over twenty years of expertise in marketing and sales. She has held prominent positions in the fields of advertising, hospitality, retail, consulting, and product development. In addition, she also has a significant entrepreneurial background. She has spearheaded an advertising agency and managed successful franchise operations for leading brands. Monisha has lived and worked in Asia, Europe, and North America which adds to her knowledge of several languages and cultures. It is this enriched experience that she brings to the classroom. Monisha holds a Ph.D. in addition to Master’s in Business Economics and M.Phil from India. She teaches Marketing concepts and application, Consumer Behavior, Personnel Selling, Integrated Marketing Communication and a special class on Market Consulting. In 2020, Monisha became the Director of the Truist Leadership Center. Monisha is engaged in community service outreach programs, in addition to serving Goodwill and the local Advisory Board, Truist Bank.
Adriana Collelo
Adriana is the student associate for the Truist Center for Leadership. She is a senior at Marshall University, who attended Wheeling Park High School in Wheeling, WV. She is a Lewis College of Business student majoring in Marketing with minors in Communications and Entrepreneurship. In the spring of 2023, Adriana participated in the Business Leadership Symposium where she and her team presented their project focused on the data of consumer behavior when it comes to holiday shopping. She is actively working with faculty to reinstate the American Marketing Association on Marshall’s campus and is involved in the Ethics club where students learn to become ethical leaders and thinkers. She has been an active participant at many of the LCOB events such as the Hall of Fame. Adriana plans to pursue a career in Digital Marketing and is excited to gain experience and proficiency while working with the Truist Center for Leadership.
