We invite highly motivated undergraduate students to apply for our NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program. This program provides a unique opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research in the project focus area, gain hands-on experience, and collaborate with faculty and peers.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents at the time of application.
- Undergraduate Enrollment: Applicants must be currently enrolled as undergraduate students at an accredited college or university in the United States.
- Preferred Academic Background: Preference will be given to students majoring in computer science, electrical engineering, data science, or other closely related STEM disciplines.
- Programming Experience: Applicants must have completed at least one programming course and have basic experience with languages such as Python, JavaScript, C++, or a comparable language.
- Broadening STEM Participation: Students from groups that have been historically underrepresented in STEM fields are strongly encouraged to apply.

- Resume/CV: Provide a current resume or CV highlighting your academic background, technical skills, coursework, projects, research, and relevant experience.

- Unofficial Transcript: Submit an unofficial transcript showing your current academic standing, completed coursework, and relevant courses in computing, engineering, or related fields.
- Letter of Recommendation: Provide one letter from a faculty member, instructor, or research advisor who can comment on your academic preparation, skills, and potential for research.
