Branches Domestic Violence

The work study position at Branches Domestic Violence Shelter puts students directly in the front office of the emergency shelter working with survivors of domestic violence.  This position provides the unique opportunity to work alongside certified domestic violence advocates and may include duties such as: answering phone calls, sorting donations, organizing clothing closets/cabinet and supply spaces. Work study students may also interact directly with survivors and helping to meet their emergent needs or providing supplies during their emergency shelter stay.  We strongly recommend this opportunity for criminal justice, social work, and psychology students.
