Biography

Sean Quisenberry, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Biomechanics in the School of Health and Movement Sciences at Marshall University. His teaching and research focus on human movement biomechanics, instrumentation, and the development and application of technologies used to measure human performance.

His research combines biomechanics, motion analysis, and instrumentation to better understand human movement and interactions with the environment. His work has included the development and validation of custom force measurement systems, wearable and inertial sensing technologies, optical motion capture methods, and other experimental tools for quantifying movement and mechanical loading.

Dr. Quisenberry earned his PhD in Biomechanics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His broader research interests include human movement biomechanics, sports and occupational biomechanics, motion capture, sensor and measurement technology, and the development of new experimental methods for studying human performance.
