Marshall University graduate Rodrigo Almedia will present a guitar recital at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 3, in Smith Music Hall.
The evening will feature a diverse program with works by Napoléon Coste, Domenico Scarlatti, Regino Sainz de la Maza, Francisco Tárrega, Máximo Pujol, Roland Dyens, Jorge Morel, Gentil Montaña and José Luis Merlin. The program will also include Almeida’s own arrangements of traditional church hymns.
The recital is free and open to the public.
