The Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine will host Outstanding in Our Field 3, co-sponsored by Cabell Huntington Hospital and St. Mary’s Medical Center, Saturday, June 4.

Titled “Appalachian Dirt” and featuring work from more than 20 ceramists from West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky, a new exhibition up at Marshall University’s Visual Arts Center aims to break the mold on the thought that ceramics is limited to pottery alone.

The summer series of the Huntington Area Art Society kicks off this evening with a new focus: artwork created in relationship to buildings, such as stained glass and public art on buildings.
