Stephen Cook, Pharm. D., BCPS

Biography

Dr. Stephen J. Cook received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy in 2010 as a member of their inaugural class. He completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV in 2011. After completing his residency, he joined Holzer Medical Center as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist until May 2012.

Dr. Cook returned to the University of Charleston as an Assistant Professor and practiced as an Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the Charleston Area Medical Center – Memorial Division. He also served in various leadership roles at the University of Charleston including the coordinator for the pharmacy residency teaching certificate.

In January 2023, Dr. Cook joined Marshall University School of Pharmacy as a Clinical Associate Professor. He also practices at St. Mary’s Medical Center as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Transitions of Care.
