In 1837, Marshall University was formed in Huntington, West Virginia, as one of the region’s first public higher education institutions. Over the next 188 years, Marshall became a beacon for research, education and innovation.

Even though Marshall’s campus is easy to walk, each student has the option to have their own car on campus.

Located in East Hall, the Access, Connections and Engagement (ACE) Center at Marshall University continues our commitment to student success by providing access to resources, fostering relationships and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement.
The ACE Center is dedicated to helping students navigate their academic journey, develop independence and form lasting connections through innovative programs, strategic partnerships and personalized support. The ACE Center is also home to Marshall’s international students office, world café, prayer & meditation room and more
