Homecoming week 2015 may be over 2 months away, but WMUL-FM is already making preparations for this year’s Car Bash, which will take place on Thursday, October 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Buskirk Field.
The 14th annual Car Bash is WMUL-FM’s celebration of Homecoming, where an old car is painted in the colors of the opposing team and people can pay $1 to ravage the car with a sledgehammer for 2 minutes. This year’s homecoming football game opponent is North Texas.
The car will later be featured in the Marshall University Homecoming Parade.
More details, including the make and model of this year’s vehicle, will be available at a later time.
