Marshall University’s School of Art & Design is pleased to invite artists to submit entries for Legend Has It, a quilt and contemporary fibers exhibition to be held in the Charles W. & Norma C. Carroll Gallery.
In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States and the 100th anniversary of Black History Month, this exhibition explores the history of labor in Cabell County and surrounding region through the intricate and symbolic language of quilts. Stitch by stitch, these works reflect stories of migration, industry, and resilience that shaped the state and region.
