Elementary Education, B.A.

The Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education prepares candidates to teach in kindergarten through sixth grade classrooms. The program provides a strong foundation in the core academic areas of Literacy, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, as well as developmentally appropriate teaching methods and evidence-based instructional practices. Graduates are equipped to foster intellectual, social, and emotional growth in young learners and to create inclusive, engaging learning environments.

Secondary Education, B.A.

The Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education prepares candidates to teach in grades 5–12 and in specialized PreK–Adult or 5–Adult certification areas. The program emphasizes deep content knowledge within the chosen discipline, effective instructional design, and classroom management techniques appropriate for adolescent learners. Secondary educators play a vital role in preparing students for postsecondary education, careers, and lifelong learning.
