Pediatric DYScussion Series: An Interprofessional Journal Club

The Marshall University Department of Communication Disorders is pleased to continue the Pediatric DYScussion Series during the Spring 2022 semester. This Interprofessional Journal Club meets virtually once per month and is open to speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, dietitians, physicians, and other professionals who service children with dysphagia. This is a collaborative learning community for professionals interested in learning more about pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders.

The DYScussions are led by Pamela Holland, M.A., CCC-SLP/BCS-S and Bryn Brown, M.A., CCC-SLP, COM. See the schedule below for selected topics.

February 21: Bodywork and Its Relationship with Pediatric Feeding Difficulties and TOTs
March 28: Messy Play Therapy – Is there evidence?
April 25: Parents Perspective with a Parent Panel
May 23: What is Orofacial Myology?

All meetings will be held at 7 PM EST.
