The Enabling Discovery through GEnomics (EDGE) solicitation has been archived. EDGE proposals must now be submitted through the IOS Core Program Solicitation (NSF 24-546) in Research.gov.
Key updates include:
- EDGE proposals may now be submitted at any time (no annual February deadline)
- Proposals must follow IOS Core Solicitation instructions
- EDGE-specific review criteria and additional documents have been removed
- The program continues to support:
- Functional Genomic Tools (FGT) Track
- Complex Multigenic Traits (CMT) Track
- EDGE now accepts:
- CAREER proposals
- Mid-Career Advancement (MCA) proposals
- RUI, EAGER, RAPID, NSF-BSF, conference, seminar, and workshop proposals
