Biography
Dr. Ferguson earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in Nursing Education from Regis University and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Leadership from Eastern Kentucky University. She has been a registered nurse for more than 28 years, with extensive clinical experience in critical care, telemetry, and open-heart recovery.
With over 21 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Ferguson has dedicated her career to preparing future nursing professionals. She holds the Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential through the National League for Nursing. In July 2023, she was appointed Director of the School of Nursing at Marshall University.
Dr. Ferguson has presented at numerous professional conferences and authored publications in peer-reviewed nursing journals. Passionate about nursing education, she is committed to inspiring and mentoring the next generation of nurses while advancing excellence in the profession.
