NCLEX-RN Pass Rates

The NCLEX-RN (National Council Licensure Examination – Registered Nurses) is the national exam individuals seeking licensure as a registered nurse must pass in order to practice as a RN. Pass rates are based on the percentage of individuals passing the exam the first time taken. The table below shows the pass rate for both the Huntington and Point Pleasant campus, as well as the national and West Virginia pass rate for a given year. The expected level of achievement (ELA) for both campuses is 80%

Program Completion Rates

Program completion rates are the percentage of student completing the program within 150% of program length. For the pre-licensure BSN program, 150% of program length is four (4) years beginning with the sophomore year of the program. For the RN to BSN program, program length depends on option chosen by student.
