Welcome to Marshall University’s Online College Courses in the High School (OCCHS), a program that offers online courses to high school students.

Our goal is to offer courses that will expand student access to programs and services while providing a high quality educational experience.

Courses are offered through the Blackboard platform, allowing students the opportunity to take courses from Marshall University faculty and the flexibility to learn when and where they choose.

OCCHS courses are college courses NOT dual credit courses unless otherwise decided by the school system.

For traditional dual credit in-class courses, please visit College Courses in the High Schools.

If you are interested in working toward your educational goals anytime…anywhere…anyplace, contact us at occhs@marshall.edu for more information to begin your college journey!
