Biography

I earned a BA in English from Srinakharinwirot University in Thailand and a master’s degree in Communication Studies from Marshall University. I started my teaching career with a focus on teaching English as a second language since 1999. Throughout my teaching experiences, I have never stopped learning how to teach. I used my knowledge and experiences to provide the best learning environment for my students. My students are different and unique. There is no one approach fits all. I work closely with my students to increase and assist their learning by using English as an effective tool to reach their academic goals.

My students are international students who bring their cultural background to their classes. I believe that my students’ goals are not to only understand English, but they would like to be proficient in English for other purposes. Some may further their education in undergraduate or graduate studies while some may want to advance their careers. English is a medium to reach their goals; it is not to learn grammar structures and become a master. I provide classrooms and opportunities for students to practice using their English.
