Biography

I graduated with my Master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from West Virginia University in 2011 and began my career at Marshall in the summer of 2012. Since then, I have taught beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes in a variety of language skills and elective courses. My favorite skills to teach are grammar and speaking. I love to incorporate community-based learning into my courses. In the past, my students and I have volunteered for an animal shelter, a food pantry, an elementary school reading program, and a farmer’s market, among other places.
