Examples of some of the many employers offering internships include United States Congress, West Virginia Legislature, Goodwill, St. Mary’s and Cabell Huntington Hospitals, United Methodist Church and Huntington City Government.

Speaking Skills

The Department of Communication Studies is home to the nationally successful Marshall University Speech and Debate Team, called the Thundering Word, which enables students to enhance their public speaking skills through debate competition.
