The Louise and Lake Polan Class of 2029 (Sophomores)

Walker Fowble is from Oak Hill, OH. He is majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Exercise Science. He is involved in Cru, Baptist Campus Ministry (BCM), and the Marshall Run Club.

Zoe Hughes is from Hampton, VA. She is majoring in Cyber Forensics and Security.

Alycen Hurst is from Greenup, KY. She is majoring in Environmental Science with a minor in Geospatial Information Systems. She serves as the Academic Chair for Delta Zeta and is involved in the Marshall Environmental Science Association, Home with the Herd, and the Creek Geeks Laboratory.

Claire Johnson is from Huntington, WV. She is majoring in Biological Sciences with minors in Pre-Professional Healthcare, Chemistry, and Spanish. She currently serves as the Editor of Culture and Opinion for the Parthenon, studies the effects of silver nanoparticles on neurological development in a campus lab, and is involved with the Marshall Run Club (Founder) and Women in Chem. Additionally, she works as a sales associate for Robert’s Running and Walking Shop in Huntington, WV.

Bella Jones is from Panama City Beach, FL. She is majoring in International Affairs and Creative Writing with minors in Spanish, Psychology, and Film Studies. She works as a DJ for WMUL 88.1 FM, is a camera operator for Herd Vision, and serves as the social media manager for the Marshall Run Club. She is also a First Communion teacher at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Huntington, WV.

Katie McCutcheon is from Point Pleasant, WV. She is majoring in Computer Science. She is a member of the Marshall University Women’s Soccer Team, serves as the Student-Athlete Development Chair for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and is involved with Break Free. Additionally, she works as a soccer coach at SOS and Eastern Elite Soccer Academy.

Addison Poling is from Hurricane, WV. She is majoring in Communication Disorders. She is involved in the Pediatric Entertainment Program, Baptist Campus Ministry (BCM), the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association, and the Marshall Run Club.

Aadi Rautela is originally from India and moved to the United States during high school. He is majoring in Marketing with a minor in Political Science. He is involved with the Sports Marketing and Business Club and has participated in undergraduate research, examining wind effects on 3D-printed building models.

Anna Toledo is from Nitro, WV. She is majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Spanish. She is conducting research with Dr. Derrick Kolling and is involved in Women in Chem and Break Free.
