Society of Yeager Scholars
Yeager Scholars

Home to some of the best students in the country, the Marshall University Society of Yeager Scholars supports students who lead their communities into the future. Many bright minds in the state, and beyond, call themselves Yeager Scholar alumni. We’re honored to play a role in helping shape the education of top scholars, current and past, and look forward to working with the leaders of tomorrow.

The curriculum required for Yeager Scholars is rigorous and demanding, including interdisciplinary seminars, multiple honors courses and a proficiency in a foreign language. Scholars are expected to maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA while being the leaders of campus organizations.

"Throughout the past few years at Marshall, I have been fortunate enough to have various opportunities to engage in both work experiences and community involvement. The Yeager program has helped me gain leadership skills and given me flexibility in my academics that has aided me in various internships, including this summer as I intern doing consumer research for the Clorox Company."
