Marshall University Opera Workshop is open to every Marshall University students and the local singers. The singers who are accepted into Opera Workshop, will refine their opera technique and develop their artistry under the guidance of Marshall University faculties.
Headed by Alexander Lee, Opera Director, the program is internationally known for its excellence, attracting some of the most talented young singers around the world. Marshall University Opera Workshop has been performed numerous performances. Recent fully staged productions include Haydn’s La Canterina and Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas.
