Opportunities for Non-Majors

You don’t have to be a music major to be involved with music at Marshall. All our ensembles are open to every student regardless of their major. We also offer a music minor anyone can add to their major to stay involved in music.

Ensembles

Marshall boasts 3 concert bands, 4 choirs, a full orchestra, jazz bands, marching band, pep band, and many smaller ensembles. No matter your talent level, there is an ensemble for you. Click here to see what ensembles we have and contact us to find out how you can sign up.

Music Minor

A music minor is a great way to combine your major with your love of music. Our minor is designed to give you a basic knowledge of music theory and history while giving you a chance to take lessons on your instrument and participate in our ensembles. Click here for more information about the music minor and contact us to get started adding your music minor.
