Biography
Elbert Davis is an Assistant Professor in the College of Education and Professional Development, where he teaches teachers pursuing advanced degrees. His goal is to strengthen the foundational knowledge of educators and prepare them for greater impact in the classroom and beyond.
His scholarly focus centers on the continuous improvement of his courses, a commitment recognized through two Blackboard Exemplary Course Awards. Beyond teaching, he coordinates revalidations and one of the college’s alternative certification programs, while also advising students in the Instructional Processes and Strategies certification area. Through these roles, he supports educators not only in their coursework but also in their professional growth and career advancement.
