Dr. Kandice Rowe Profile

Biography

Dr. Kandice K. Rowe is dedicated to supporting students as they transition into and through college life. She has taught UNI 100: Freshman First Class for several years, where she enjoys helping new students feel connected, confident, and prepared for their academic journey.

A lifelong learner and proud Marshall graduate, Dr. Rowe earned her EdD in Leadership Studies with a focus on Higher Education Administration. She frequently shares ideas at conferences on how advising and student support can make a real difference in retention and graduation.

Her work has been recognized with awards such as the NACADA Region 3 Excellence in Advising Award, but her greatest reward is seeing students succeed, grow, and reach their goals.
