Georgianna Buchanan Scholarship
- Full-time, undergraduate nursing student in good academic standing (not applicable to incoming freshmen)
- Resident of Lawrence County, Ohio; Cabell County, WV or Logan County, WV
- Annual award of $1,000
Dora Craig Memorial Scholarship
- Full-time, undergraduate nursing student
- Preference given to Mingo County, WV and Pike County, KY applicants, but all WV and KY students encouraged to apply
- Annual award of $3,000 ($1,500 per semester)
Dr. Jane C. Fotos Scholarships
The recipient shall be a full-time student who is majoring in Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in good academic standing, with a 3.25 GPA or higher and has need per standards of the Office of Student Financial Assistance.
Dr. John J. & Mary S. Sheridan Scholarship
The recipient shall be a full-time undergraduate student who has a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and is a science major in the College of Science, or a nursing major in the College of Health Professions.
Jane Deacon Flower Scholarship in Nursing
- Full-time, undergraduate nursing student
- Preference given to students participating in pre-licensure BSN program
Frazier Family Scholarship
The recipients shall be full-time undergraduate and graduate students, majoring in Communication Disorders, in the College of Health Professions.
Grace Bennett Scholarship
He or she shall be a promising full-time student with demonstrated substantial financial need majoring in dietetics or having an area of concentration in a foods and/or nutrition related area.
Greg Ferguson Memorial Scholarship
- Scholarship shall benefit a graduating senior from Spring Valley, Tolsia or Wayne High Schools. Student shall be a full-time undergraduate student.
- First preference shall be shown to students majoring in Health Care, Human Resources, Business Management or an agricultural related field.
Health Science Student Scholarship
The recipeint shall be a full time junior or senior who is majoring in Health Sciences in the College of Health Professions, be in good standing 2.5 GPA or higher, and have demonstrated highest financial need per the Office of Student Financial Aid.
Helen Nickles Boley Dietetics and Nutrition Scholarship
The recipients shall be full-time dietetics and/or nutrition majors in the College of Health Professions, a resident of West Virginia, in good academic standing with a 3.0 GPA or higher, and have financial need per standards of the Office of Financial Assistance.
Jenny Jones Memorial Scholarship
The recipient will be a nursing major in the College of Nursing and Health Professions (CONHP). The Dean of the CONHP will be responsible for the selection process, in cooperation with the Office of Student Financial Assistance. This is a one-year award.
Kay Blankenship Lanier Memorial Scholarship
The recipient shall be a full-time undergraduate student from West Virginia who is a first-year student studying nursing in the School of Nursing. First preference to a first-generation students.
Lafferty Memorial Scholarship
The recipients shall be full-time or part-time, undergraduate students who are majoring in either the College of Business or School of Nursing in the College of Health Professions, are residents of West Virginia or Kentucky and have financial need per standards of the Office of Student Financial Assistance.
Margaret Bond Poole Food Nutrition Scholarship
The recipient(s) shall be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in the College of Health Professions who is a resident of West Virginia with financial need per standards of the Office of Student Financial Assistance.
Misty Dawn Endicott Memorial Scholarship
The recipient shall be a sophomore in the College of Health Professions (CHP) who has been accepted into the BSN Program, has demonstrated financial need and a 2.5 or better GPA. Priority shall be given to graduates of Spring Valley High School in Wayne County, WV; then to a graduate of any Wayne County, WV high school; then to any WV high school graduate.

Susan Williams-Helmer Scholarship
The recipient shall be a full-time undergraduate student in the College of Health Professions majoring in Nursing, with first preference to a student on the Marshall University track team.

The recipient shall be a junior or senior level undergraduate student, who is majoring in Social Work in the College of Health Professions, is a resident of West Virginia, and has demonstrated financial need per standards of the Office of Student Financial Assistance.

- Financial need and commitment to medical technology will precede academic ability as selection criteria.

- The George J. Harold Graduate Academic Award: The recipient shall be the student who completes the master’s degree in Communication Disorders with the highest grade point average.
- The Dr. Ruth C. Garrett Undergraduate Academic Award: The recipient shall be the student who completes the bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders with the highest grade point average.

- Full-time, undergraduate nursing student who is a rising sophomore
- 2.5 GPA or higher

- Must be a nursing major
