Biography
Ashley Coon, MA, LPC, is a WV native and two-time Marshall alumni, earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor in WV and is trained in Basic Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
Ashley aims to offer a person-centered, collaborative therapeutic approach where students can feel safe, understood, and motivated to grow. She emphasizes the importance of individualized care and a strong therapeutic alliance to best support student needs and goals.
In her free time, Ashley values and prioritizes self-care, rest, personal interests, close relationships, and her two cats.
