Patricia Proctor

Class of 1984

Proctor, a 1984 SOJMC graduate, enjoyed a career as a freelance journalist before law school. After a distinguished law career, she became the founding director of the Simon Perry Center for Constitutional Democracy at Marshall University where she directs the Amicus Curiae Lecture Series on Constitutional Democracy. She teaches courses related to critical thinking, law, and the Constitution, and oversees a university-wide prelaw advising program and an interdisciplinary curriculum in Constitutional Democracy.
