Public Administration Faculty Biography
Dr. Brown received her Ph.D. in Political Science in 1997 from Georgia State before coming to Marshall in 1998. She won the Pickens Queen Outstanding Teaching Award and the Graduate Advisor of the Year Award. She was involved with the Writing Across the Curriculum Committee, the Center for Advancement of Teaching and Learning, and was the Parliamentarian for the Faculty Senate. She served as the Associate Dean of the College of Liberal Arts from 2013 – 2020. Dr. Brown retired in 2020.
