Biography
Shelby Babbington, M.A., LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of West Virginia, and is the Mental Health Counselor for West Virginia Autism Training Center’s College Program for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Morehead State University, a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marshall University, and a graduate certificate in Violence, Loss, and Trauma. Shelby provides therapeutic services through individual and group counseling. Shelby enjoys advocating for students through person-centered care and helping them build personal autonomy and resilience. In addition to the work she performs at Marshall University, Shelby has professional interests in the areas of Creative and Expressive Techniques in counseling, and ASD and Crisis Intervention. In her free time, she enjoys Marshall sports, traveling, thrifting, and spending time with family.
