Biography
Kaitlin Horton began her journey at Marshall University in 2012 as a part-time staff member, later becoming the Graduate Assistant of Facility Operations in 2018. She earned both her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences and her Master’s degree in Exercise Science from Marshall University.
Now serving as the Assistant Director of Fitness, Kaitlin oversees fitness programming, Physical Education Lifetime (PEL) classes, and internship programs at the Marshall Recreation Center. With over a decade of experience in fitness programming, aquatics management, and facility operations, she’s passionate about creating engaging programs and keeping things running smoothly.
When she’s not at work, you can find Kaitlin hitting the gym, spending quality time with her husband and son, diving into a good book, or caring for her ever-growing collection of houseplants.
