Biography
- Develops and manages job placement and professional development opportunities for both Federal Work‑Study and non‑FWS students
- Actively identifies and promotes campus and community positions that align with students’ academic goals and long‑term career interests
- As a key connector, Robin collaborates closely with students, employers, and university partners to create meaningful, accessible employment experiences that support student success
About
Robin brings a well‑rounded and student‑centered background to her role in Career Education. She spent several years in the Huntington/Tri‑State area working in behavioral health agencies, gaining experience across multiple functions—from direct care to human resources. Throughout this time, she remained closely connected to Marshall University, volunteering as an advisor for various campus organizations.
Before returning to Marshall, Robin worked as an academic advisor at Ashland Community and Technical College, where she supported students in navigating their educational pathways. During her first 10 years at Marshall University, she has served as an advisor in University College, working with students from a wide range of majors and academic interests.
With the Office of Career Education, Robin is excited to combine her workforce experience, advising background, and passion for student development to help students connect their education to meaningful employment opportunities and career pathways.
