The 2027 MoSI workshop is expected to take place during May 2027. Final dates and application details will be announced when available.
During this week-long workshop, participants engage in interactive sessions focused on:
- Evidence-based teaching strategies
- Active learning techniques
- Student engagement and success
- Inclusive teaching practices
- Course redesign and implementation planning
Faculty work with MoSI facilitators and peers to develop practical plans for incorporating these strategies into their own courses.
Participants who successfully complete the workshop receive a $1,250 stipend.
As part of the institutional change process, university administrators participate in portions of the program to better understand faculty needs and identify ways to support sustainable implementation of innovative teaching practices across campus.
